Momac
I bought LED replacements in 2106 from Bedazzled . They have been no trouble at all which is what I had hoped for as they were not cheap. I chose the equivalent of 20 watt, warm white, and they are a lot brighter than the 10 watt halogens they replaced , which is okay with me. https://bedazzledledlighting.co.uk/product-category/led-bulbs/g4/ . Dr Bob
I am using the Bedazzled ones https://bedazzledledlighting.co.uk/product-category/led-bulbs/g4/g4-vertical-back-pin/ Everyone will say they are expensive but they work very well and have not let us down. edit - Martyn beat me to it by 10 secs Edited December 29, 2017 by Dr Bob
Guest
Another vote for Bedazzled, replaced all halogens with LEDS, they are voltage spike protected as well.
Onewheeler
Bedazzled have always worked well for me, mostly running 10-30 V bulbs from 24 V. I did have some bulbs from Litecone which burnt out almost immediately despite being run well inside the rated voltage. I think that was just unlucky, the proprietor offered to replace them and I never quite got around to sending them back.
Detling
Bought bedazzled in 2012 still all working. Bought e-bay for house in 2014 some (10%) have failed.
Nightwatch
Bedazzled for us too. Helpful. Good to order on line and quick dispatch.
Keeping Up
And another vote for Bedazzled. We replaced 8 fluorescent 6 halogens and 2 festoon bulbs about 5 years ago, all still working and bright, also they were very helpful when I phoned with some queries. Expensive yes but very good. Our only problems have been that the colour match on two of the warm white tubes was poor, and they knock out the DAB radio in areas of poor reception. tree monkey
Just bought some from bedazzled, visited the "shop" more of an office with loads of electronic stuff spread over the desks Very very helpful they spent ages explaining things to us. Well worth the visit

Soon we will have him The difference is that Bedazzled specialises in 12/24V systems for boats, motorhomes, etc. and have a very easy to use website. Neither applies to Ultraleds. Make it 10-1. Sea Dog
11 - 1 My Bedazzled full outfit of lamps are over 5 years old and all are still fine. Edited December 30, 2017 by Sea Dog Thought I ought to add more than the score update.

All 100% reliable, and good they say for 8V to 30V. They may not be specifically a canal supplier, but that doesn't make the products inferior. I suspect the products are near identical, and certainly contain visually identical componentry. Last time I looked, UltraLEDs were about half the price of Bedazzled, so I'm not sure why people are so wed to the latter, particularly as we regularly get people suggesting for other products that you buy from a non canal supplier to avoid huge mark ups. Mostly as you say all good but on occasion there would be some that soon burnt out but even adding those in the cost was hugely less than many places. It's not necessarily that the cheapest burn out and need to be replaced, so much as how some of the cheapest burn out. I'm not convinced about the conscience of some cheap Chinese manufacturers, and I'm pretty sure British Standards mean little over there other than another logo to fake and don't see the Chinese Government clamping down on the counterfeits. I don't know how to tell which products might fail safe and which might literally burn out, otherwise, if it's just the odd light going out, I'd probably also go for cheaper ones too. With the bonus the office is an easy drive away so no problem with delivery either. There are plenty of other suppliers and plenty of people happy with them
jonathanA
Aten lighting are good too but since the cheapo Chinese stuff on eBay is a tenth of the price of bedraggled, ultra pricey or amen I think it’s always worth a look there too Aten do a comprehensive range of adapters which means you don’t have to change or bodge your existing light fittings
rgreg
I bought a cheapo pack off ebay a couple of years ago and so far so good.

Do you mean good that they're all still working or good that the ones that have blown so far haven't set fire to your boat?
