mykaskin
A little taste of winter boating: In other news, the Tring summit was well watered, and after a bit of filling had plenty of water down the flight. Even had plenty of water through Berko for a change. 2
WotEver
A blackbird hen tried to land on our fish pond at home. As she discovered it was more like sago pudding than solid ice there was a cartoon moment of hesitation with her wings outstretched across the mush before she flew off accompanied by many avian swear words. David Schweizer
Is the butty the former Midlands and Coast boat Mercury? I used to know the former owner Tom Lavender, but heard it had recently been sold. Do you own it now, or were you delivering it

jddevel
First picture of Lock 19 on the Wolverton Flight last Thursday. Next Friday morning. If you load and enlarge the picture and zoom on my wife I swear she`s smiling especially as she knows she`s only 18 more to go that day.

I believe it was actually brought up to the GU by road, and craned in at Watford, though I have still yet to see it, other than "on film".
