BMC 1.5 / Thornycroft T90 Alternator

I just found a new alternator in a consignment shop, and wanted to see if anyone knew if it would fit on my Thornycroft T90 engine.  It is a Prestolite AS128 66021535 reversible .  http://www.prestolite.com/pgs_products/specs.php?item_detail_id=10343&item=66021535&product=ALTERNATOR

Looks like an A127 clone and as Prestolite have taken over Lucas Marine it probably is so yes it should fit as long as you know how to deal the the sliding bush in the rear mounting bracket.

If its an import then by the time you have been stung for P&P and various import taxes it may well be cheaper to get an automotive A127. In my view you do not need an insulated return because the rest of the engine electrics are earth return.
