Got back to the boat today to find this notice.  Anyone any idea who's organising it?  Is it part of a series of meetings?  I'm particularly intrigued about the speaker who 'helped make' the British Waterways Act 1995.

I must say that the invitation to "air your grievances about CRT" does somewhat restrict your scope when "express[ing] your ideas".

what a plonker. I hadn't noticed any new rules or regulations etc etc but still ive only been living aboard for near on thirty years methinks this will be a  newbies poster.

You missed the 1995 Act then eh, just 22 years ago?! 

But I agree with your point. I think this bloke pitched up recently on the cut assuming it was well, 'just there' and a 'free for all'. And now he is discovering the regulations one by one, and each is coming as a rude awakening.
