They are also fitted to the new Tomlow ranges...Ive emailed Brinklow to see if they can supply as a spare part.....Ive also found them on the website of budgetchandrey.co..uk but for some reason their site doesnt inspire confidence.

If anyone knows of any other suppliers Id be most grateful.....or if someone has one lying around.......

There is a uk address on the website. Just seems like they have a lot of stock which I doubt they have on the shelves!  PayPal would be my choice tho. I’ve emailed them about delivery so will see what day.

I’ve done a companies house check.....they can’t hold a lot of stock given the financial reports....or they have a very good accountant!

Isn't the "Classic" the original name of what is now the "Epping"?

If so the usually quoted place for parts for the latter are it's manufacturer, Brenmarl Engineering.

I’ve looked at the Epping on the brenmarl site and they do seem to be a different shape. I might get in touch to check dimensions.

Annoyingly the picture for stove spares on the arleigh site...the head office of Midland Chandlers..shows just the part....but it’s not listed!!

  • 9 months later...

To resurrect this topic....

As the delivery date from Brinklow Boats just rolled ever later I asked about and was pointed in the direction of this item and seller by Olly Osbourne of Osbourne restorations.

Needless to say I ordered one and whilst it’s going to need some fettling to fit my stove it’s a lot better than anything else I’ve found.

Its not got the slots for the flue damper but unless anyone can say that damper is vital I can live without it. The “oval” is a slightly different shape tho (narrower “top to bottom”) but I think 5 mins with a grinder on the stove upstand will address that.

The seller also apparently can cast other parts for nippers & premier stoves. He could be a useful chap!

Hopefully its a useful to someone!

Gareth.
