Hi all,

There use to be a boat painter that had a big add in towpath talk that was always upside down, he has not been in there lately so does anyone have his name and number please, and if you have seen his work.

Can't help ally.

But I have to say,the add didn't have much influence if we can't remember who it was.

It sticks in my mind because it was a half page add but you had to turn the mag upside down to read it, done to catch the eye I suppose also said from £1500 but that was probably a rub down and one coat of gloss to brighten up.

I don't know how old the add is, it was in the fire lighting box from last winter

I doubt you've get much of a full repaint for £1500. All of the painters I work with charge somewhat more....somewhat.....

A decent paint job tends to cost around £100 per foot so that costing must be for a 15 foot boat

I have just looked at his website and he now charges from £2000 for a full repaint regardless of size, if you look he explains why and what you get for your money.
