Moorings on the K&A at Bath

We are travelling along the K&A at the moment and are in the Bath area, so what has happened to all the miles and miles of CMers that everyone used to talk about. Yes there a quite a few moored boats but just not the amount we were expecting. Not had any trouble finding placed to moor up for a couple of days.

used to talk about. I think that's the point, enforcement in that area has evidently improved it. I did three months there ,from around April to June, and had the same experience.

It still seems a little difficult to find moorings on the KandA near the end, but Bathampton was very quiet when we did it in August. Most of the moorings in bath seemed to be taken up by folk genuinely cruising and hire boats, which is of course fair enough!
