RichM
I have a becton bunny SF stove. I've noticed that there's a very small gap visible on the rear blanking plate, (presumably where a back boiler would be fitted if I had one) meaning it's possible to see a glow from the fire (from the back) when it's lit. I'm guessing this is not right? What's the best way to fix this? Cheers RichM
Boaty Jo
Possibly..... the blanking plate has 2 or 3 lugs to twist it into place (probably 2 as the bunny is a small stove). Perhaps the plate is simply not fully twisted into place and needs re-seating. Whether you need additional sealer (cement / high-temp silicone??) I'm not sure. Perhaps give these guys a call....... http://www.aarrow-stove-specialist.co.uk/
Tonka
On our Beckton Bunny the lugs on the blanking plate had corroded away and also part of the backplate had corroded away. Ended up changing the fire
