A few pictures from our extended bank holiday weekend on the Trent. We enjoyed a couple of lovely days in West Stockwith followed by a nice evening at High Marnham and finally back home again to Burton Waters. A great weekend in some lovely weather.

We enjoyed some lovely meals on this trip. The Sunday Carvery at the Haxey Gate is well worth a visit. A good six mile round walk from the basin at West Stockwith but worth it.

The food in the Brownlow Arms at High Marnham was as good as ever and outrageously cheap.

And finally we had some food in the Woodcocks pub on the marina on our final evening. The food has improved no end since we first started going in. No complaints from us about this one.
