RichM
Hi all, I have a problem with my Sterling 1800w inverter. I switched it on earlier today and the overload buzzer sounded. I thought it was odd because there was very little load on it. I turned it off and turned it back on again about an hour. Now, no lights illuminate on it or anything. Thoughts? Robbo
Immersion on? Then a fuse blown? Could overload led also mean over voltage as well?

Could overload led also mean over voltage as well? I don't have an immersion. There does not appear to be a fuse on the Inverter unless I am mistaken? Voltage readings look OK. Only thing I can think of is that my friend used a hairdryer on the Inverter for about 5 minutes yesterday and thought I was being funny when I politely asked him not to! Sigh

Tony Brooks
I think Robbo probably meant a fuse in the 12V supply to the inverter.
Drayke
Check your battery isolator switch it may be faulty, especially at the back where the terminals are.
