Stern deck cover - taking down for cruising

We have recently bought a boat with a stern deck cover. This is great whilst moored but needs taking down for cruising due to head height at the lower bridges. What do you do with the rear part of the frame whilst cruising. It seems to be in the way if behind the tiller.  Thanks.

Put it in the nearest skip.

Mine has two brackets which hold it just above the tiller.
