Excellent, another convert to night cruising!!

Well not a convert really. First night cruising experience was taking my mate Chris' dad's centre cockpit cruiser down Lapworth flight in the dark. Probably around 1970. I only remember it because I managed to ding the corner of the windscreen on something and broke the glass. Ooops!

BCN challenge 2015 reminded me how pleasant it can be. We've done some night cruising in the winter, but usually tied up before dark in the summer.

You've obviously found the delights of mooring on one of the straightened sections of the North Oxford, sloping stone walls below the waterline. The fun bit is working out where they start and finish :)

We spent a nice evening on the moorings above the locks at Hillmorton a few weeks back.
