Suspicious Boat activity

My boat will be named simply "In Debt ll" as was my previouse pleasure boat.

Boats are pricy beasts and they do say bring out another 1000 ......so aptly named in my opinion.

Why not just name your boat something 'nice', instead of something'clever'?

The clever dick names just have people rolling their eyes at each other once you've gone, rather than marvelling at your wit...

The most pukeworthy name I've seen for a while is "Miss T Morning".

Groan.

I rarely do anything but cringe when seeing a boat with a 'cute' name but did have to smile at "Aire today -  Don tomorrow" near Bramwith Lock.

Oh, I better change ours then.

I do think inland waterway boat names a pretty pointless though (how many people name their cars and write it on the side?)

OMG is your boat called "Russ Tee" then???

Russ T Abbott actually , when its moored  near Stanstead.

I thought you would at least bite about the pointless boat naming bit though......

Currently out for a couple of weeks, and noticed several boats with "blue" in the name, eg Misty Blue, etc.

You made a note of them, then, as in 'Blue Note'? Yes, we passed a 'Blue Note' last weekend, the property of a jazz fan I assume.

It has been reported on Facebook that it has been seen again

Could someone pm the Facebook link, I think It may be someone who has done a flit owing a considerable amount of money to a local canal trader.

Possible, I suppose...but as it has been over a week since the initial report, such a canal trader would surely have had the opportunity to track down the boat himself? They don't go very fast, after all.

But this is pure conjecture and the reality may be entirely different.

Without knowing the approximate subject of the OP it seems a pointless thread ........ perhaps that could be a boat name?

...or a T.V. quiz game.

Even that wears a bit thin once you've seen ten!

The most distasteful boat name I've seen so far is "Sloake Hunt". Saw it a few years ago moored near SeaWorld in Brum.
