Wow fantastic pictures there NC.    Have really enjoyed following your adventure, been a while since I have sailed those waters , and a couple of years since been land bound in that area but it brings it all back!

That was one heck of a trip Rach, well gel :) 

 

You choose some great spots for taking pics, seeing them gives me incentive to get mine finished ;)

Maybe France and Belgium the year after.

It was certainly a trip we will remember with fond memories for a long time.

Stunning part of the world.

Hopefully before too long we will be back up there to explore more of the waters.

The alternative route is not all that far off what we actually did on our couple of days on the Loch :giggles:

Be aware (as dog owners) if you ever go back  that way that dogs are not allowed in Urquhart Castle. We drove to it last year after not properly doing our research only to find it was 'assistance dogs only'. Unfortunately it was too hot to leave him in the car.
