tortuga guy
Hello boaters , now got my eye on a 40ft cruiser stern Willoughby Boat Co. , bmc 1,5 built in 1974 for £20,000 (which may be a bit cheap ??) do you know anything about this builder, i did a seach online and i guess they once built and hired out but not entirely sure, have you heard of this builder and were they budget boats or quite reputable builders, any scrap of info would be highly appreciated, thanks again for your time. Dave Payne
Seems a little pricy to me, unless of course its in good condition. Any photos or a link?
X Alan W
I would guess that a 1974 build would be at best 6mm hull plate possibly thinner at the very least a hull survey; a complete one being a better choice; the asking price is on the high side do you know if the hull requires or has been plated? how many hours on the propulsion system? I have no knowledge of the builder or their reputation My advise would be look around if you have that amount to spend I am sure there will be better known builders newer in years boats for sale at that price point BUT at days end the final decision is yours
