Not many people realise that the Yorkshire and Lancashire roses are different shapes as well as different colours. Red rose being best of course.... On a white background, of course, and to hell with the Flags Commission, or whatever they call themselves, who tell us we can't use it because a small town in another country has registered it with them first, and demand that we use a yellow ground!
