I am sitting here watching a video and listening to" Hoggy" Lawrence Hogg saying what a wonderful example to the canals the Cincinnati works are. What a change in few years.

It is quite depressing going past there now with the bridges laden with razorwire fencing and the smashed windows.

When I came past in April this year the demolition crew was busy removing the buildings, so probably nothing left of the offices now.

 

Used to feel like a little oasis in the middle of the industrial conurbation, another sad loss.

Cincinnati was of course a range of canal buildings that may be described as from the age of the art deco. Sadly production of the presses, CNC's and other machinery ended several years ago and the business was transferred elsewhere.
