Possible Tea Leaf Boat, Wheaton Aston Area

It has been brought to my attention today that there is a suspect tea leaf on a boat near Wheaton Aston.

 

It is allegedly a green 60' boat, with red-oxide painted rear panels. Teenage boy and girl on board with parents. The Daddy, possibly tall, thin and dark-haired, is said to have assaulted someone up the Llangollen, was banged up for it and now at large again. It seems he has a nasty temper.

 

It seems that stuff has been disappearing from its vicinity.

 

This may be a repeat of an earlier thread but this is today's information. Well, I heard it today.

 

This is all hearsay, by the way, but maybe worth a bit of caution.

Think a boat with that description passed us today at Wheaton. Will keep an eye out. Boats have been broken into at Wheaton but that was over a week ago so probably not related as I didn't pass a boat like that after talking to you.

Well thank you all for your responses! I hope you're all nice and toasty and not worried at all, about other boaty people nicking stuff off yer cabin tops!

u know this lot cannot resist opportunity for humour..but bet everyone despite what they say will keep eyes open. Its like neighbour hood watch on here and good job to...well its canal watch..

Well you started the humour calling the boat with thieves on it "Tea Leaf".

Yes, if you're trying to start a serious thread why use rhyming slang?

 

Also, although I'm sure people appreciate the heads up, I'm unsure about the fairness of circulating these sort of criminal allegations on a public forum. You may well be correct about this person, but on the other hand unless you have some evidence and the information has come from a reliable source it could easily just be an unsubstantiated rumour that's now being more widely perpetuated. Have the allegations of theft and violence been reported to the police?
