Shane Dempsey
Hia, I am finally getting round to taking out my very rare thornycroft RJ2, she is a rare beast and was made in 1937. There are only about 4 or 5 of them in the country. Not sure when it will be out but hoping sooner rather than latter. Could be the perfect engine for a collector so will be on the market very soon. RLWP
I ran Will Try aground on the Trent with that engine years ago Richard
Shane Dempsey
HI Richard, Did you own her? Shane
RLWP
No. She was for sale back in 2003 when we were looking for a boat. I fell in love with her, mostly because of her engine. We arranged with the owner to take her out on the river, and I got her onto a gravel shoal It was a good warning - we would have struggled with her on our local canals, so we didn't buy her I got the impression Will Try was a boat built around an engine, what with the location at the stern and the full height firewall Richard
koukouvagia
Does this mean you've sorted the piston problem out? WW link
