Sooo excited that we made our first trip! Absolutely loved navigating around the rivers and canals and now safely in Droitwich Spa Marina. And so our new life and adventure begins. Loads of questions... These will follow in the days to come!

The Severn was fantastic! We were so nervous about it but on Tuesday morning it was like a mill pond. Gave great chance to practise getting to grips with steering! First lock at diglis was a bit daunting as I had to hold the boat in place for about 5 mins but after that it wS fab. Lovely lock keeper at Bevere gave me encouraging words.

 

Absolutely love it and can't believe we own our own boat!
