Shoreline fridge spares

Tobymonster

Featured Posts

Hi all. I have a 12v shoreline fridge that needs a new door tray and a shelf or two that have gone rusty. I've tried to find spares on the excellent espares website that managed to find me a drum spider for my Candy 10t washing machine, but nothing comes up for Shoreline fridges. Are there a made by a different company and just rebadged, if so does anybody know what factory they are made in? I got the fridge with the boat and I have no instructions either to give me any clues.....

Cheers, TM

Is it a LEC ?

Are 12v LEC fridges known as Shoreline then??? I've often wondered this!??! I could do with a new freezer flap on my 11 year old specimen, but can't for love nor money find a model number/type anywhere on the damn thing. Similar to Tobymonster I got mine with the boat.

Shorelie use a variety of manufacturers, all they do is fit the 12V unit and rebadge them. You can usually find a label on it somewhere to say who built the cabinet - usually LEC or King. Try asking shoreline with their model number and perhaps a photo.

Thanks all. I have a day tomorrow so I shall call them to arrange to send a photo. There is absolutely nothing on the fridge itself stating what make it is, the only thing with a label is the compressor unit itself, which is a shoreline number. I shall see if the shelves are available under LECor King which will then give me some idea / confirmation of a model number that shoreline used.

LEC is now, as far as I know, just a brand name owned by Glen Dimplex, along with Stoves, Belling, Redring and Morphy Richards.

I don't think they manufacture domestic fridges any more, certainly not in UK .... last one I saw was a re-badged Beko.

Most of the Shoreline stuff I saw at Crick this year was identical to Iceking http://www.ice-king.co.uk/CategoryList.aspx?cid=1

Google RIR99DW3 (LEC) and you get http://www.12v-fridges.com/products.php?category=1 with a 12 volt LEC fridge

I though Morphy Richard was only a sleeping partner. closedeyes.gif

Thanks all for this article.

I’ve just replaced the door bottom bottle tray for my Shoreline 5010, with one for a LEC 5010 for £8. It’s arrived, and it fits!!

The tray has been broken for over a year and we’ve limped along supergluing it together. It broke again at the weekend, so I did some Googling and found this article.

I bought from BuySpares.co.uk

https://www.buyspares.co.uk/fridge-door-lower-bottle-shelf/product.pl?pid=3242716

and paid extra for next day delivery.

Btw: Shoreline don’t seem to do the 5010 any more and I couldn’t find spares for it on their web site.

The pockets in our Shoreline fridge door are cracked – no surprise there it would seem! As noted above, ones that look similar can be obtained from buyspares.co.uk for a fraction of the cost that Shoreline charge. Before I order them, wait over a month and then be disappointed, can anyone confirm that their stock numbers 2147703BS (aka pid=3242716) and 2147702BS (pid=3242719) - or any others - will fit a Shoreline RR102W? I’ve had a chat with buyspares but they don’t know.
