weather forecast is good for the next few day, we are heading up from Torksey aiming for red hill on sunday

Are you planning to spend a night in Loughborough or Barrow? It might be time for a mini banter.

Looking at the EA charts & forecast hopefully all will be well for the weekend !

All levels from Freemans , Wreake at Syston Pillings & Kegworth seem to have peaked & have fallen slightly - Based on our local knowledge we should all be ok for the weekend. Although more rain might change matters - Forecasts seem ok so fingers crossed , Although with the Trent still rising may hold back the drainage from the Soar.

Have said before tho some of the Soar 'reds' can be a little on the low side !

Went red yesterday late afternoon...we are facing the light currently! Should be green by weekend I reckon.

btw, the EA have lowered the 'normal level' so it will go red earlier now I think.

Thisgives Pillings Lock Marina extra time to get the buckets ready to maintain its flood free status.

levels 6" down at Sileby

from yesterdays peak.

5 boats above the lock waiting to continue.

after the last years floods, this is very much a slash in the can.
