ah, well!! you were not watching free view channel 209.

 

a nature and wildlife prog featuring the macclesfield canal in all four seasons.

 

winter 2010 showed ALTON breaking the ice to reach a customer to deliver fuel

 

in addition the customer received a complimentary bottle of beer as a christmas gift

If any boats down my way would like to leave me complimentary bottles of beer, please do. If you feel the need to break ice in order to do it, that's fine too.

Oh right, we filmed that with NHK for Japanese TV, so really surprised to hear it's on over here. We had good fun filming with them, we were just the extra's as the wildlife & countryside were the stars. They got some great shots of the wildlife, especially the swans.

 

We always do a beer run at Christmas to thank our customers for their support :-).
