I've just had a Eureka moment in Aldi.

If this had been 3 days ago I'd have given it a sideways glance.

However as it's not, I think we've cracked it!  Anybody want to come in with me?

BUT it says it connects to a car battery .. so unless you park your car on the deck you're going to need a long cable

It's been posted a couple of times in various topics but, having just read it, I think it deserves a topic of its own.

It looks like the Victron website doesn't like Safari since I just get a blank screen (no 404 message)

Happy to report that Chrome works fine :)

Not sure how this might help...

Did it work?

also try Safari menu > Empty Cache and then Cmd R on the page.     If no menu option do a opt + cmd + E as this is the shortcut for the option.

If still not then try Safari > Reset Safari

if reset Safari not showing use Safari > preferences > privacy > remove all website data

The iMac has been misbehaving since I first tried the link.

I've taken the plunge and updated from 10.9 (unsupported) to 10.11 (still supported even though it's almost 3 years old).

This should bring a whole load of security updates and a newer version of Safari so I will see if anything has changed once the system has settled down

Interestingly he has only made two posts. I seem to remember way more that two from him ?

I think it is a different G&F. The old one used to be a mod too!

Edit to add:

Yes the original G&F used the word 'and', not an ampersand. Last visited here in aug 2017.

Unless it’s a imposter, the location is correct for our old delightful mod.

(And still on the Aire Navigation . . are you all well?)

The good news is the whole system is much more responsive. Malwarebytes discovered and dealt with one problem, some adware that had found its way in.

I haven't tried the Viltron website again...

I tried to message you.

I still have the mud-weight you lent us in Leeds, but sadly all 25Kg of it are now in Hertfordshire.

A bit expensive to post, methinks...................

Suggestions ????
