Can any one help with servicing information for a Nannidiesel Engine Model 3.110HE? Similar infor mationis also required for the mechanical gearbox which is TMC 40

For example: Filter types. Oil Grades and capacities.

Hour Meter Problems:

Anybody any experience of the electrical control side of the engine. It has a simple key start with a separate engine stop button. It's fitted with a round faced rev counter with a combined hour meter. One of the problems is that the hours do not display every time the engine is run. May be a week later the numbers come back clear and bright and have advanced showing that the recorder is still functioning.

Any clues as to what could be wrong? The external connections have been checked and are sound. The rev counter works fine.

Perhaps its just the LCD connections inside the meter? The vibrations of the boat could have caused this to come loose - normally they are very fine/thin ribbon cable to the LCD panels.

Probably a real pain to get at though!

Hi Terry.

Followed up on the Peachment info. Tried to contact a dealer in my area but they never returned the calls. It was the same with making contact with Peachment direct. Good initial response but they too failed to respond with promised return calls. Tried again yesterday and made some progress. Did manage to resolve one problem concerning the oil used in the TMC 40 manual gearbox. At first they insisted that it should be ATF, eventually they confirmed that the earlier boxes did use engine oil (mine is 6 years old) this has been confirmed by the previous owner of the boat.

Thought this might help somebody else.
