We have had an Enox All-in-line 12V/240V TV for about 9 months now, and we have only ever watched DVDs on it due to our incompetence and ignorance when it comes to setting up televisions. Apparently it can be used with satellite or freeview/DVB. We have tried the old aerial that came with the boat, a satellite kit from Maplins, and now a one-for-all digital TV aerial. Either we are rubbish or our TV is and I don't think we have the know-how to work out which it is (though I could take a guess...) So, if you live in the Cropredy area, or know someone who does, and know something about setting up TVs, PLEASE help us. We will pay in money, or food, or beer, or tea and biscuits - whichever you prefer. Thank you in advance.

Can anyone recommend a robust, weatherproof fitting for taking a satellite cable through the hull? All I have seen so far are flimsy plastic affairs. Is there anything better? Thanks, Chris

I'm after one of these: It's a plastic thingy for a Ross/Aldi satellite dish - it has 2 U bolts that join it to a metal tube. Well the plastic thingy broke in the recent winds and Ross can't provide a replacement. I can't find one in the usual places (eBay, google). Any ideas, O wise and helpful forum-ites?

Hello, having just moved onto a boat I've got plenty to do! One thing I'd like to get nailed is good TV reception and as good as possible wi-fi. So I thought I'd ask you experienced boaters.... 1) Is there a hands down BEST ariel/satellite dish for good TV reception? Is Sky a good option? 2) Is there currently a BEST method for getting good wi-fi. I run a macbook, iPhone and ipad and I'm happy to pay a monthly charge. There seems to be a mountain of portable wi-fi options, it would be nice to know what REALLY cuts the mustard. Cheers, Jason.
