  3. I have never really had much luck carrying out searches in any forum - no matter what they are based on... Although I have noticed that the better the title and sub-title of the post, the better the return...

  10. I second the Black Prince argument. They are great, although I found it a little underpowered on the River Severn. Comfortable well appointed boats!
  11. I am really amazed that this TV does not have an audio out in the form of a pair of red and white phone plugs... I must make sure I check this very carefully when I purchase an equivalent for home. Surely the SCART (much as I loath them) will provide audio out? Maybe this was the manufactures idea?
  12. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but Cambrian Basin is a must place to stop in the centre of Birmingham. Right at the top of Farmers Bridge locks, near water point, rubbish etc. Nice lady with cat has a permanent mooring on the left as you look at it and she will let you know if its okay to moor alongside... Other than that, stop at top of Hatton Locks - The Waterman is nice (or was), then there is always the Blue Lias...
  13. I just wish it wasn't all locked up with Digital Rights Management. There is the odd program that I would like to keep, but can't as for reasons best known to the BBC. Apparently its all down to copyright, BUT I can still record on my hard drive recorder and burn to a DVD at the same quality. What is all that about? It is jolly good though, especially as you can record an Audio Stream using something like Audacity, convert to mp3 or ogg and then stick it on a CD - cool!
  14. Which phone have you got? In theory things like this should save a fortune for schools.... Anyone fancy setting up a company? I have a dual Skype/DECT phone that doubles as both. Brilliant! I tend to steer clear of MSM - no reason other than I got into Skype first.
