  1. Came across this spare part in my box of spares. I know what it;s for. Just need to know the correct part name and, is it complete? ie: washers missing etc.... Thanks
  2. Just need to know if I can mix a 110ah with a 135ah battery in my bank and charge them with a Waeco Multistage 45 amp charger without any issues? They are both wet cell batteries.
  3. Can someone help me out with a question regards the 'Topic Title'. I was led to believe, that all Trad Sterns access from the Counter, was off set to the right.I have now been informed that there are Trads with access straight down the middle without having to step down to the right and pass through a door to the bedroom, (conventional layout). I can't find any info or, photos to prove this. I thought all Trad designs were the off set type having to step to the right etc...
  4. Firstly, what type of stove do you have? This is my set up. When it's windy I just close the bottom and top wheels accordingly.
  5. Can anyone tell me what the approx horse power would be for my BMC Thornycroft 1500 ? Thank you
  6. Yes. When I clean the stove I always remove the baffle plate and scrape it well.
  7. Chimney/Flue clean. From what folks are saying then, it could be damp coal. I will try and dry it out before banking up for the night
  8. Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this problem but here goes: I have a Morso Squirrel 1440 which has an air vent wheel on each door. Last year it was a simple process of banking up the fire so it would burn all through the night by leaving both wheels open between 1/4 and 1/2 turn on each wheel. Doing so the stove would slow burn and still be lit the following morning. This year for some reason, following the same proceedure as above the fire will not stay in! The inside of the fire has been cleaned and all vents and, chimney flue are clean and free of any obstructions. The coal I use is 'PURE HEAT' and I purchase from the same outlet and I have never had this problem before. If the fire is fine then I can only put it down to the coal. Is it possible that this batch of PURE HEAT has some kind of fault? Regards

    BMC FUEL LIFT PUMP

Sender is on opposite side to lift pump. There was a small oil leak on the pump/block gasket and also a fuel leak on the body of the pump, (a hairline fracture) which caused a few litres of diesel underneath my engine. None has gone in the sump as the level has not risen at all. I use engine oil 20w/50 Multigrade API SE/CC Specification which was last changed 10mths ago. The present oil has done less than 100hrs
