  1. I have a set of clutch plates of unknown origin and need a bit of help - if anyone can identify the maker of the gearbox it would be greatly appreciated- They might go with part numbers which start with 18/..... but I don't know!
  2. Clutch plates - have some but have no idea what box they fit. Is it possible a photo or diameter of old plates?
  3. Found photo of Gardner coolant flow indicator. As photo shows this can be horizontal or vertically mounted - could be used on any "Non Pressurised" cooling system.
  4. The liners I have - the boxes are marked "National" - I assumed they were RN - just shows you can never take things for granted. I have tried to add photo with sizes but its not like the pair of liners in other posts would appreciate comments on what they are.
  5. I read with interest about BLACK air cleaner - dirty yes it should be with use but black/oily no! This would indicate oil coming back into the air intake side and this can only come from valve stems or seals. My old 1.5 used to suffer from valve not closing - introduction to gentle hammer proved successful - only short term though!
  6. I have - not a shed full - but 3 liners for this era - must check the id on the box and maybe someone will tell me they are rubbish or gold - either way. Can't post picture as don't know how to.
  7. These coolant sight glasses were fitted to the LW and L3 range of engines - the flange fittings are the correct pitch to match the water rail on these engines. The flow indicator is a stainless steel flap which hangs down - by gravity - and the flow pushes it out of the way so you can see the coolant flowing- the whole thing is in brass so can be made pretty with a bit of polishing.as well as having the peace of mind that the coolant is flowing. They are available.
