  1. We remembered you to Matty. Hope all your loved ones are well.
  2. Ok thanks. I've checked with cart and she is licensed
  3. Does the no activity since 2013 mean she's not had a licence since then. Hopefully she's just gathering dust somewhere.
  4. In 2007 we sold our little narrowboat, rented our house and moved onto our live aboard and explored the inland waterways until 2016 when we returned to our house. We've now an inkling to return to the canals for holidays and outings and wondered if our little narrowboat was available. When we owned her she was called ' Ericha Leah' the new owner renamed her 'Little Willie' and her name is believed to be Amy now. her number is 502983 and she is a 24'6" trad stern. Could anybody help us find her. I understand you don't know us nor can you verify my motives but if you find a way to put us in touch whilst protecting the current owner we would be very grateful.
  5. Hi Mike, I live in Long Eaton just a couple of miles from Sawley Marina. I retired from boating in March but still have a hand held vhf radio (Cobra Marine MR HH 100 VP EU) Full working order including rechargeable batteries, charger and handbook, RYA vhf book, Aveness 2 way chart, River Trent, Nottingham to Trent Falls and a very detailed 9 page A4 photocopy of another river trent chart. I won't be needing them again and they would appear to be just what your looking for £25 for the lot and there yours cheers Bill.
  6. there is clearly some sort of difference that buggers up both webbys and bubble stoves.[/quote My Bubble has produced much less of the hard carbon deposit over the last couple of years. It seems very happy with the current fuel on sale at the marinas cheers Bill..
  7. Hi Arm, I winter in a marina set up as you describe. I do find the exhaust note of these heaters annoying, loud enough to wake me from my sleep. I had contemplated moving because of an offending heater but another boat moved between us and the problem ceased. Thanks for consideration.
  8. I had your exact problem when I installed mine earlier this year. I returned it to the manufacturer who identified and remedied the problem. The printed circuit board had popped out of its clips at one end. I did pop the back off and have a look when it came back and now know I could have mended it myself.
  9. Now moored at Leek where the perfectly serviceable towpath is being dug up and replaced with a surface suitable for high speed cycling. Upside for boaters is now we can get the shopping trolley all the way to the boat. It's a long carry from Morrisons at leek. ( where's the emocon for tonuge in cheek )
  10. You seem to want some kind of a sanitised environment. I'll continue to strive for a clean, tidy and healthy home. Dosn't seem unreasonable surely.
  11. What do you mean by "poor state"? Mud is my main problem - we have two dogs - the Marina is mud free so it works for us.
