A sturdy dog harness might make it easier to guide him on and off the boat, easier than trying to pick him up... a company callet 'Ruff Wear' do outdoor harnesses and life jackets for dogs....

I bought a Kobo touch in the Summer...half the price of a Kindle, just as good and I can buy books from aywhere not just Amazon...I love it...
