  1. Ok so lets solve this problem. Areas within range of school zones for these protected individuals. Lets say within 5 canal miles either way from the school. Payable at equivalent rate to local moorings. Calculated at weekly rate and charged term time pro rata. Outside of term time the boat must not be within this zone, except to cruise in and out. And while outside of this zone must cruise.
  2. I hope this gets nowhere. The reasonable test includes not making changes if the cost is prohibitively expensive. So if crt were to argue that the combined lose of mooring incomes from providing this request was probibitive expensive they would not be required to make changes.
  3. Hi Can you provide details of the 12v blueray player as i would like one. Thanks
  4. I will pop up and Have a look when I'm home in a bit

  6. Another wooden top project. Repeat after me I don't want another boat. I don't want another boat
  7. Hi all Opinions needed on the following. At present my bilge pump runs on a switch operated in the cabin. I'm thinking of installing a second positive wire to the pump with a float switch inline. So then if water builds up while away it will drain automatically. But if the float switch were to fail I could still use switch in cabin to pump water out.
  8. I will be there by car Saturday
  9. It's always the simple things that make you look stupid with boats. Got home today. First chance I had to lift engine boards and look at things. After a bit of faffing about, discovered the connection on the back spade connector had loosened. Tightened up all running well and back up to 14.4 and no ignition light. Sigh of relief.
  10. Lamp was regular brightness and reduced charge volts 13.5
  11. Hi all Any advice on this greatfully received. While running my engine to charge batteries last night I noticed when I went to switch off engine that the ignition light was illuminated. When first started the engine the belt screeched a bit and then stopped. The ammeter showed charge going in even when light was on. And batteries had charged from 40% to 70% on smartgauge. Alternator is a year old and has 112 hours use following engine rebuild.
  12. Does anyone know if this will work with a basic v6 model?
  13. I think a argument could be made that a Bss certificate does not constitute proof that a boat Is safe for navigation. Like a mot it is proof of what was present at time of inspection. We have all seen boats with unsafe gas bottles and generators etc that weren't there at inspection time. Plus 4 years is a long time for a boat to change/degrade.
