Leisure mooring use

Hi all,

We were hoping to be CCers on the Bridgwater and Taunton canal but it isn't long enough. Residential moorings seem to be non existent.

So my question is... Is it OK to have a leisure mooring then just spend all your time pootling up and down the canal?

my understanding is if you return to your mooring the cc clock is reset, so keep a record of nights spent on the mooring in case CRT question your boating pattern.
