engineer/boatyard recommendation please

Hi all,

I'm currently approaching Marsworth, having been disappointed to find Pitstone boatyard is no longer doing engine work. (I had my boat blacked at Bates boatyard at Marsworth in the past but I don't think they do engine maintenance/repairs do they) I'm heading south and finding many services no longer operating - at least my Nicholson Guide is well out of date!

You could try Cowroast, Harefield Marina or  P & S Marine At Cassiobury, other boatyards are available

I recently had some work done at Lyons boatyard on the Stratford union near cockmoor forest the engineer only charges £35 an hour +parts (which are also very cheap)

There used to be a boatyard at Winkwell, not sure what the current situation is though

Ed Boden is mobile on that part of the cut and IIRC  he moors at Maffers.
