Head tank

Hi all,

We have a header tank feeding 3 radiators and it has a very minor leak but I'm struggling to locate it.

Any tips on how to do so? / seal it?

Use a paper towel to thoroughly dry the exterior and than go over it with a fresh paper towel.  The slightest weep will show on the towel.  Is it a plastic header tank?

I used JB Weld steel epoxy paste (original version) to seal up a leaking skin tank. It's been fine since. Once you find the leak, drain the tank, make sure the hole is dry, key it with a fine grade of paper, clean off any dust and seal it up.

Is it a plastic or metal header tank?
