Fortunately the Northern (main) channel remains open - keep right going upstream, and take a sharp left turn when coming downstream

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

When: Thursday 25 May 2017 until further notice

Where: Iffley Reach

What’s happening: Emergency closure of the southern navigation channel and arch at Folly Bridge, Oxford. A large piece of concrete has fallen into the river and this is now lying 2 feet below the water’s surface. We have marked the obstruction with marker buoys.

We apologise for any inconvenience this emergency closure causes and thank you for your patience during this time.

Many thanks
