Isn't it the snake oil stuff advertised to petrol heads in magazines.

 very much doubt you can unless you fit all sorts of extra equipment that may not work without computer engine controls and then use adblu - oh and probably have to thrash the boat on rivers.

An additive with cerium in it might help stop a bit of smoke because cerium acts as a combustion catalysis. However as Nox seems to be related to combustion temperature I doubt it will do much to reduce Nox, it might, just MIGHT, reduce the particulates but i doubt to any significant extent.

If you find anything that works please let the Chinese know, they are avidly trying to reduce their carbon footprint :rolleyes:
