garyslaw
hi, does anybody have any advice of a product I could use to fully clean out my bilge. after you guys helped me find a leak my bilge is dry for the first time since I got it 8 months ago. now that it is dry I would love to clean it all up and give it a new lease of life. I have some redoxide and rust converters so thinking to put that on the floor. probably some bilge paint on top. does this sound right? anything I should do different or add? also there is a lot of dried oil which I mentioned earlier, I have been in with a scrapper but I am sure you guys will have a smarter way to go about it. maybe some magic liquid or a brush. thanks in advance
Victor Vectis
I seem to remember Alan Fincher, of this parish, posted about trying to remove years of oily crud in the bottom of 'Flamingo's' engine 'ole a while back. A use of the search function might find the thread.
