Keeping Up
A truly dreadful film that is well worth watching for its canal content. Wonderful scenes around Gas Street Basin, and i really envy him that hovercraft. I also envy him that narrowboat which is 7ft wide outside but over 14ft wide inside. The Brumburgers are there but now go under the "Handmade Burger Company" name

zenataomm
I understood he was not only the last person to go round The Loop, but he was simultaneously the first person to go around it by hovercraft. Incidentally, I do believe that the younger Sister of Zita Speight may also be seen when the Coventry Brass Band appears.

It's available on DVD and was also issued as a freeby in the Daily Mail. I got a copy from a charity shop, worth getting just for the canal scenes.
