Which primer

Hi I want to paint ( spray) acrylic over some enamel ( alkyd based ) paint what primer should I use ? or can I just spray over the the enamel paint ? Thanks in advance

It would probably be ok just light sanding the enamel and spraying the Acrylic straight on without reaction, but to be on the safe side I'd spray on universal primer, best available from vehicle re-finishing trade shops.
