Shaky Steve
Morning all, Just a heads up the the bottom gate (Oxford end) of Grants Lock on the South Oxford seems to be obstructed below the waterline again. I say "again" as a forum search reveals this to be a common problem. I squeezed through by pulling up my fenders and co-captain leaning on the gate. A following 70 odd footer didn't make it. This was last Wednesday and it's well known, so well known that nothing is being done about it? Anyhow I'm North of it now, good luck if you're going South as that will be tricky... You really need one with a bucket end to lift the silt. Somerton Deep suffers the same problem. Give CRT a ring and Steve will send someone down to do it.
