As the title really. Are there any Elsan stations on the Huddersfield west of Stanedge Tunnel?

Above Stalybridge, past Tesco, under the pylon and just before Spring Back Lane, someone will come up with a lock number soon

Just checked it out, just above lock 8w but I do have a vague recollection of it being locked or may be blocked last time I was there

Thanks, neither of those comes up on canalplanner or the cart guides. It wouldn't normally be a problem but we will have friends onboard which will definitely involve extra beer and therefore stretch the facilities.

I've just noticed you are both "daan sarf". Thanks again. I'm within 20 miles so I'll have a road trip to investigate now you've pointed me in the right direction.

An afterthought

I checked yesterday. Both Elsans are fully functional. There's no water in the canal at Uppermill though. Repairs to washwalls are taking place.
