Google maps printing satellite images

If you use Google Earth (still free, runs on your PC/laptop), then it has a facility that enables you to save an image file.

If printing, you may want to use some freeware (I use CutePDF) that enables you to "print" to a PDF file. Very handy (of course some browsers have that facility built in already, as does the latest version of MS Office).

Here is a link to a document I put together back in 2011 about how to make a giant map from google maps or satellite imagery. This process worked well back then but I haven't tried it in years so I don't know if it still works:

I use a Samsung Notebook and regularly use screenshot to save google earth images, i also now use it too to copy the streetview which helps  when i,m looking at new places i,m travelling to.
