Putting in to the Oxford

Afternoon all,

Could anyone advise where on the Oxford Canal near Banbury I can put in my 25' from it's transporter and who I need to contact to arrange this? It will be on a Hi-Ab fitted truck.

There are a few boatyards along the way eg Lower Heyford and Enslow assuming you want just to be able to lift off and straight into the water. None have a slip that I can recall, (The nearest for that I can recall is just north of Cropredy). If you are looking for a 'free access' I think you will not be lucky.

Possibly arrangement could be made at the boatyard at Aynho.  Bunny

The Slipway a mile or so North of Cropredy is a possibility - but access to it by road, lane and track (in that order) could be tricky. You could give Richard a ring on 07790 843865 and make enquiries.

Just a quick update - 

The little boat went in to the Oxford at Aynho Wharf last week. Many thanks for all of your help and to the good people at Aynho, it went swimmingly. Well, floatingly...
