The Wey is ,of course,Beautiful as is the Thames

Have not taken the Narrowboat on to BWB/CRT waters since 2006 as the Proliferation of CMers was increasing even then.

Home Mooring is on the Thames and 124 miles of Cruising is adequate, the Wey is nice to visit every now and then

CT

The Bassy is now viable too. :)

The 1 day is enough to transit Teddington to the Wey or Reading to Oxford.

The one week would allow transit Teddington to Oxford

The one month would allow the full Thames with side trips on one License.

If you plan on dong the wey and possibly the Basingstoke Canal then starting with a 1 day license might be best. Note a 1 day license is actually 1 night so can be upto 2 days depending on time of entry onto the Thames.

For some reason it never has been, was introduced a few years ago and kept very quiet.

Probably because it became abused - so was available only on a need to know basis.......

(Lockies often ask where are you going - if The Wey is the answer then was 'did you know'..)
