12v wifi bulbs

Family bought us a Amazon echo, which so far the family has fun with it games etc.

We also use it as a callender and weather, it also suppose to control lighting heating etc.

 

Does anyone have one of these, and any suggestions re

12volt wifi bulbs please

It be fun to control the lighting with Alexa (echo)

Are their such a thing yet? 12v wifi bulbs

I don't know anything about these things but I wondered if it might be easier to move the issue to the switch rather than the bulb. A quick eBay search for wifi light controller brings up these. Most seem to be made for use with colour changing LED strips with R G B and +ive connections:

Echo uses WiFi to talk to devices, so you would need to add a wireless router to the boat to link everything

 

 

As this and the echo run off 240v it would be easier to fit 240v led bulbs as they are only about 10 watts.

 

Not sure if echo works without an internet connection so maybe would also need to connect the router to an internet signal.

Just be interesting if we can make it happen
