stegra
I don't know anything about these things but I wondered if it might be easier to move the issue to the switch rather than the bulb. A quick eBay search for wifi light controller brings up these. Most seem to be made for use with colour changing LED strips with R G B and +ive connections: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-24V-WiFi-APP-Controlled-LED-Dimmer-Strip-Light-Controller-5-Routes-PWM-TH-U4X6-/132054662524?hash=item1ebf123d7c:g:0UQAAOSw44BYbHm~ http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Magic-Color-LED-WiFi-Remote-Control-Controller-for-RGB-LED-Light-Strip-LD740-/401172937118?hash=item5d67c5399e:g:OZUAAOSw9NdXtYk2 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Xcsource-Wireless-RGB-Wifi-LED-Strip-Controller-IOS-Android-DC-12V-24V-20A-XC321-/142115201810?hash=item2116b9e312:g:TuwAAOSwFe5X1oEE
Dave Payne
Echo uses WiFi to talk to devices, so you would need to add a wireless router to the boat to link everything As this and the echo run off 240v it would be easier to fit 240v led bulbs as they are only about 10 watts. Not sure if echo works without an internet connection so maybe would also need to connect the router to an internet signal. Lots of faff.
