Shower enclosure

Hi Peeps

 

SWMBO requires me to remove said shower curtain and replace with some sort of shower door jobby . I have not yet measured or looked but am guessing a standard wickes etc jobby will be too tall. I will be fitting a 1100 shower tray at same time. My question is have any of you had a purpose built jobby made and any recomendations etc?

Or use acrylic and fashion your own hinges and magnetic catches. Or look at a caravan breakers.

We always fitted standard domestic surrounds, just the lowest we could find, ours were Aqua iirc. We had 2 made for specific individual designs, one fairly straightforward, one with curves, used a bespoke shower company, but the price was prohibitive, I wouldn't have paid it myself. Unless your ceiling is very low or you put a high base in, you should find something standard.

Yes Wesley Windows will supply made to measure shower doors. Happy with ours, WW were very helpful.

To repeat and clarify my earlier comments on Wesley Windows. My issue with them WAS NOT THEIR DIRECT

RESPONSIBILITY!!!I had requested a quadrant tray from them WITH A UPSTAND. Their tray supplier/manufacturer

accept the order from them and then failed to fulfil the order within a reasonable period of time with a

report to me from Wesley Windows that the manufacturers "mould had broken" I had no direct issue with Wesley

and indeed may still be purchasing an enclosure minus the tray from them.
