Notifications for mobile phone users

I mainly use a PC when on the forums but I think the majority now use phones. Am I correct in thinking that phone users don't see notifications unless they proactively look for them?

I still recieve notification emails for topics I'm following regardless of device in use. It might be something I opted for in "settings", but cann't remember doing it. Edited January 6, 2017 by Eeyore

Do you get them for PMs?

I don't see pm's or anything else unless on laptop as my home mobile page is new content.

Ah, that's why people don't answer my PMs! Unless I am on a lot of ignore lists!

 

Perhaps there should be a little flag on every page when you have a PM?

I think you can alter your settings to suit , if I get a PM I get the PM direct to my phone, then I can use the included link to go to CWDF messages and reply or I can if I wish just reply using my phone (which means my e-mail address then becomes visible but I dont mind my mates knowing it)

Phil, I'm sure you are correct. However, I can't get to those settings on my phone. So people who never use the desktop to access CWDF may have notifications turned off. I wonder what the default setting is?

Go to the bottom of you page and select full version, you can then do everything that you can on a lappy or PC. When finished go to bottom if the page and select mobile version.

So do I, but the people I send PMs to don't. This is my whole point.
