boat fire regents canal

Probably demonstrates the need for compliance with BSS.

How? The artical says nothing except there looking into how the fire started.

If its something like arson how would a complaint boat make any diffrence.

If i took any boat on the system and filled a big glass bottle half with petrol half diesel or paraffin and put a rag in smashed a window and lit it threw it in how would a bss certificate make any diffrence?

Or what if the person was having a fag and fell asleep?

Reading a London boater site, it appears this boat has been a bit of a problem with undesirables (in some opinions!) and was a disaster waiting to happen.

Maybe someone should have chucked all that junk on the (non-) towpath into the inferno and had a proper clear up?

What does Geo think?

No doubt that everyone's lying because we've not heard the other side and that it needs to go to court, then to appeal, and that he'll have to write a three page post to justify that position.

Is that on the same bit of bank that the Narrowboat sank on last week, the one they are trying to raise £10000 on line for.

Must have sank due to not complying with bss

Don't forget your cheque book because that report won't be free.

The boats there are all squatting, they have cut a hole in the metal railing to get access to the roadway, I know this because I worked off that site, we were using it for loading hoppers from and we had to erect a access over the railings.
