What tiller pin do you have.

I don't really go for those naff little metal tiller pins so I'm working on an alternative:

 

 

Admittedly, the training is not going very well so far but I'm working on it!!

Wow, mounting a searchlight on the tiller isn't something I'd ever considered. Getting on and off the boat in the dark and finding the key hole would be a doddle. What other uses could it have?

Lutine's tillerv doesn't come off, so no tiller pin

 

But I'd like one in the shape of the treble clef, that might not be easy though (I do have cuff links in this image!)

 

Buy these, take off the baseplate and add a pin to the bottom of each and you could have two!

Hi 1agos, Your tiller pin is very smart. I am after a beer barrel tiller pin, our surname is Cooper, as in barrel maker! Can I ask where you got it from? Cheers!

I have of course a swan, sitting therefore on a swan's neck. Very useful for stretching the washing line on. Neither the swan nor the tiller can be removed after a traumatic encounter with an A&C lock ladder.

My boat is Iron Snail so the tiller pin is an iron snail. Made from a cast iron garden ornament, with a brass pin glued in with car body filler. This is the second one. The first didn't have a clip to secure it and was extracted while passing under a weeping willows trailing leaves and dropped in the cut. Kerplunk!
